Accidental double

A Russian military helicopter has landed inUkraine, reportedly after the pilot was convinced to defect in a six-month intelligence operation.

A Russian military blogger said a helicopter had crossed the border with three people on board “a couple of weeks ago”, but claimed the aircraft had lost its way.

The twin-engine Mi-8 AMTSh was on a flight between two airbases, transporting parts for Su-27 and Su-30 fighter jets, Ukrainska Pravda newspaper reported, citing defence intelligence sources.

The pilot’s family had already been moved to Ukraine as part of the defection operation and he would join them, it said. Both crew members were killed, the Russian blogger and Ukrainian reports said.

Wrong. Putin started this war. Completely on his own volition. This is 100% Putin's war of choice, and only he can bring a stop to it. Ukraine has no obligation to stop killing Russians as long as there are Russians illegally invading and killing Ukrainians.

Robotyne appears to have been liberated.

A significant air defense system and its crew have been eliminated in Crimea.

A lot of captured chatter from the Russian side that they're running low on tanks and apc's.

And many Russians on the lines may find themselves encircled in the coming days, especially if they fear retreating while taking fire from cluster shells with little cover on thier escape route.

While fending off counterattack in Robotyne, they've taken out another Russian supply convoy near Novoprokoprivka

Retaking Robotyne is providing fruitful as Ukraine now has a 2 axis corridor to play in and have penetrsted through the most difficult portion of the Russian line until they would hit Tokmak.
