Okay! Here is a quick "Cliff Notes" version of Buy Here Pay Here 101... LOL.

First, get the downpayment money before she gets the keys. No money down, no car! Hell, Carmart doesn't even sell a car without some money down. If she says she will get you the down at a later date, then hand her the keys when she comes through with the money.

Also, do not accept services in return for the down. If you do, your setting yourself up for failure. She will not feel a commitment in paying you back if she trades you a few sessions for the down payment. She will pay you much better if she initially sees her hard earned green cash leaving her hands as she hands it to you. If you want to barter sessions for the installment payments, that's up to you but DO NOT do any sessions for the down payment.

What if she flakes, leaves the state and you cannot find her after she has paid you the down payment? That's simple. There is a company called Enfotrace. Google them. It will save you a ton of aggravation in finding the car when she defaults and you need to recover it. You can even disable the car from running with a stroke of the mouse from your computer with an Enfotrace locator on the car. It works like a champ on all cars made after 1996, so you can put it on just about anything currently on the road.

That's the ONLY WAY I sell vehicles on credit. I don't care if its John Q. Public or Slutty Sally, I will have one of those devices on that car so I can find it if I need to get it back.
