The findings were delivered to Hegseth for review, marking the final stages of a probe that has stirred serious political scrutiny within the Defense Department.
Of important note, former Biden official have said that Heggy didn't do any of this maliciously. Which I agree with. They think he was simply out of his depth and made a mistake. Which I also agree with.

And the subsequent attempt to downplay it, silence folks and pretend like he didn't fuck up are what make him a shitty example for the troops and a shitty leader.

No surprise that Heggy is trying to reign things in as he targets IG rules ahead of the IG report's release. He's had a chance to read it.

Is it nefarious- nah..but stupid. Yeah. Def stupid. Equal to the 45 administration using whatsApp and other off campus communication media. My question is why use that instead of a domestically designed and suited forum for secret shit- and for those who don't want a trail to follow- that on it's surface is more than shady when you are dealing with things as custodian of the public trust.

Not too Trustworthy when you think about that.

That's the part of all this that REEKS of malfeasance.

This administration - not unlike it's past one- does a LOT of things off books, and with one hand in the pocket and another sticking straight out. I hate government in general, but this is the reason for distrust in it. Giving people a pass for being stupid isn't gonna cut it anymore. Those who are dumbasses, need to be un-employed- especially when violating areas of trust. - Public Trust
