Probably pretty hard to teach Physics without Isaac Newton. In a country where I'm constantly hearing about how weak we are in math and science to take out Newton and I'm sure Galileo, with his run ins with the church, how are we supposed to be the light on the hill when no one knows how the light works? I guess it will just be a candle with people praying around it. This is silly. We need more math and science (not intelligent design bullshit) and less liberal/conservative bullshit.

I have no problem with adding the topics to the discussion. I have a problem with scared, narrow minds wanting to censor the discussion.

(I was referencing the movie Idiocracy, not the term. I should have been more specific. As in one day, people will be purchasing their law degrees at Costco, or maybe even a time machine! LOL.)

Sex is not a topic that needs to be taught in schools...I learned everything I needed to know from Marilyn Chambers.
What if their parental units are teaching them that sexuality is bad and they shouldn't even masturbate because it's "evil"?
You see, there are many facets of this argument.
Many parents are hesitant to speak to their children about sex because it makes them uncomfortable. In that situation, where are they supposed to learn about it?

What a parent teaches their child is none of your business.......or is it.......next thing you know some dillusional mother will be telling her daughter that it is wrong to become a hooker......can't be having that can we

Bad smut monkey, bad smut monkey!!
You're right, what other parents teach their children isn't any of my business but I hardly think that has anything to do with the argument of whether or not a school should teach it...
Let's get back on topic shall we?
