Boy, everybody has guzzled the Kool-Aid about DDoS attacks being the reason why a certain site is "down".
The reason why a certain site is always crashing is that more and more, servers worldwide need too scan a legit, current security certificate (
https://) or they simply block the traffic. No evil intent, no Pepe le Frog pulling hidden levers in unnamed places. It's how the real internet runs in the 21st century. And a certain site just refuses to register and purchase the security certificate that comes with registration. Hell, at one point I thought I was going to make my business primarily web based (didn't happen), so I registered and secured over 30 domain names that I thought I might use. Cost me about $10-$15 per year for each. I recently decided to release those domain names, and when I called the registration company, they offered to renew all of them for 50% off. That's about $5.00 - $7.50 a year for each registered https:// domain name and security certificate.
This isn't rocket science, it's just someone playing "I'm a secret squirrel and I have all of your nuts" having to turn to dark web servers that don't require any site registration or valid site certificate.
If anyone is running FireFox as your primary browser, just toggle "Developer Tools", and there it is, "No Valid Cerificate."
For all of who who have to have your hourly / daily / weekly dose of QAnon / banned books / cannibal pedophiles stole the 1920 election BS, just keep drinking the Kool-Aid, my children, drink it all...
