WISCONSIN: UNIONS ARE GOING TO GET SHELLACKED!

Sorry, BigTurd, but government unions insist on distorting their bargaining power and intrude on the life of all citizens by demanding above market wages for lower than market acceptable output. By disbanding government unions, the government is removing intervention into the daily lives of citizens. Without the government unions, there will be smaller government, less government control, and more freedom.

You lose, BigTurd. Find another stupid argument to support your position. Originally Posted by CuteOldGuy

There's no conflict, except in your conscience. In your heart, you know I'm right.
Rasmussen recent poll has Walker at 50% and Barrett at 45%.

The average citizen in Wisconsin is pissed about wasting tax money on this " Do Over".

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker quietly reinstated a program to give merit raises and bonuses to some state workers even as he preached cost-cutting and pushed through a law reducing most public workers’ pay and eliminating their union rights.
An analysis of data The Associated Press obtained through an open records request showed Wisconsin agencies have handed out more than $765,000 in bonuses and merit raises this year to nearly 220 employees.

That's an average of @$3500 per employee.
Walker made some employees take pay cuts so he could give others extra above the pay they earned.

I guess the teabagger version of redistributing the wealth (taking from one person and giving to another) is different from unions doing it.

That's real reform. The teabagger way.
$3500.00 per employee, like thats alot of money. They probably saved the state millions.

What is it about "merit pay" that you don't get? Geez, Munchie. Getting extra money for doing an extra good job is antithetical to what unions want. They don't want to work. But if you do a good job, above what is expected, merit pay is a GOOD thing! It will give the recipient and others incentive to keep doing a better job.

Man, can you be more ignorant?

Some of the bonuses were in the form of pay raises. So they spent money they didn't have from every future budget, placing the cost burden on future taxpayers.

Meaning the @$750,000 was understated.

And we get a typical teabagger response.

The money we spent, that we didn't have and are placing on the backs of future taxpayers, was less than the money you spent the same way.

You know, the platform and campaign promises we made when we were against that behavior. You know, before we were in office.

And without an iota proof or evidence, teabaggers can say with absolute certainty that they probably saved millions.

Two ways to make more money working for the state of Wisconsin.

1. Band together with other workers and demand more money for less work, and shut down the state if the people do not go along.

2. Work hard and do a good job.

Gee, which one is better for the employers (taxpayers)?

Munchie votes for the first way. Anyone else want to chime in?
Cities and small towns across Wisconsin are saving tax dollars because of the Walker reforms.
And the pro Walker (anti union / Democrat) will have coattails in November; Republican Tommy Thompson is leading in the run for the open Senate seat currently held by Democrat Herb Kohl.

It doesn't matter if you are a union member or not if you are a slacker.I have seen both kinds. The very worst I saw were non union government workers.
What happened to Mazomaniac? Was more effective medicine prescribed? Or did he go on to host "The Ed Show?"

If Walker wins, The "Special" Ed Show gets canceled. The suits at Comcast are praying for it.
The DNC announced yesterday that they are pulling their support for the Walker recall vote. Another sign the unions are on the losing end!

Apparently after the primary vote, in which Walker dominated, the DNC didn't want to throw more money into the losing recall efforts.
