VPN and What is It?

I don't think the hidden thing is what people are needing. It's to get access to sites abroad. And it is generally a safer connection supposedly. Wouldn't be surprised if folks will need to use one in the future. Maybe.

Folks, I am not advertising for any VPN but if you think a VPN will make you hidden or invisible on the internet, that is just not true. Originally Posted by PillowChaffer

Vpn get one keeps your cell company from
Internet tracking activity like coming to eccie watching porn etc. Never log into these sites without one if you go through your inernet broadband they track you. Believe me just use one. Create all alias email accounts using it also. Ps spoof phone number to commuicate with providers or get a burner. However never turn the burner phone on from your home your gps location is logged. I use a burner phone and nordvpn. I wont get into all the geek info but keeping it simple. If someone tells you not to get a vpn he may be uncle leo. Dont make it easy for them to track. I encouraged this before several websites got shutdown this site got lucky and left the states. There is an abudance of everyones info here.
Not doubting it's not possible. But would you not need to use a VPN in the future. Say if an escort information site offshore is set up like this one, but you could not get access to it from the US networks. Wouldn't you need a virtual private network to get access and log in from a country that allows it? Not saying it's not traceable, but for access purposes to sites, info exchange and provider based personal web pages.

If a burner phone is paid for with cash, and no personal info is ever set on it using your name, how is it possible to trace? I can see that if someone used their handle on a personal phone, then switched to a hobby phone, that might not work out for masking identities as they would trace it back to you. But if you start out with a fresh handle, and never connect any real world data to it, and always pay cash to reload it, I don't see how this is traceable unless you're merely talking about GPS signals which they could just trace nearby phones signals and IPs and see your personal phone always next to your burner phone. Then yeah. Sounds pointless to have a second phone. Thoughts on how burner phones are trace proof or a scam? Maybe another topic but I may create another thread. But a burner phone using a VPN for hobby purposes doesn't sound like a terrible idea and probably should be practiced by most of not all hobby enthusiasts who hobby with regularity.

Seen a movie where a guy hid his burner phone down the block when he went for jogs at night to call his call girl agency (flip phone with just call and text), he picked it up and only used it then to make the appointment. Kinda fake in that there's usually confirmation calls after the setup, but still just a movie and not a bad idea per se. Originally Posted by Dr Grey

Extra security for banking, credit transactions, etc. No big deal. The SO might even have you download it as you get up to a few devices with one account anyhow. And both don't share history with each other. Lots of folks are using them regularly now as the web becomes more advanced and traceable. Have friends currently getting their netflix accounts hacked by people abroad paying for them on the black market at discount rates with their passwords due to not having the protection a VPN provides, as well as a VPN secure router in their homes. So might even use that as an excuse to protect yourself and SO to have it on your devices.

Google voice is perfectly fine to get a second number, or any other app you may choose. However, that number is still bound to your IP address if you use it for any text or data by your cell carrier. Best safety is to have a second device paid for with cash with no name registered to it. While also using Nord VPN, or any other you like, when accessing certain sites.

A VPN is different from having a second number on an app. You might even turn your VPN on before you install and turn on your second number or use data for escort sites if using one device for everything. That would probably be the best practice if using a single device. I know a few ladies who have gone to a combo of Nord, SafeOffice, and a second device altogether. Probably the best.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, just explaining it the best way that I can to my knowledge of how this all works.
