5 people killed in Wilkinsburg in a mass shooting, nobody gives a damn and not one dollar was raised.
However, 11 people who are Jewish, and the entire world takes note, it makes the national news, and they collect 6 million plus dollars, for over 500K per person.
Was it because one set of victims were black, and nobody gives a shit when its a black victim, but, when its 11 white people in Squirrel Hill, which, literally had one other homicide in the last 10 years.
But black folks in black neighborhoods of the burgh and around the burgh have seen hundreds of people killed.
Same thing with the kids who were in the school in Florida, a rich suburban school, with mostly white kids, and a few hispanics and its nationwide cry for gun control.
But, a kid gets shot every other day going to school somewhere in the inner city of the USA, and again, nobody cares.
Its selfish to think you deserve a safe neighborhood more than anyone else, and selfish to think only your crime acts are worth solving or ending.
