I watched it and I was very impressed with Andrew Yang - the Asian guy who likes math. And doesn't wear a necktie. He had excellent points and he was right about automation in America. He is also right about lifting people out of poverty so everyone has a better chance of making it.

I was right about Biden - He's fading fast---it was almost painful to watch him and that the end when he gave the wrong text number was just the icing on the cake.

Overall - the most interesting and impressive candidate to me was Andrew Yang. Originally Posted by Austin Ellen

Shhhhhhh. The DNC plan is for Biden to have another stroke a month before the convention and Hillz to swoop down and rescue them.

Anybody notice the DNC didn't do away with the "superdelegates?" Originally Posted by gnadfly

the dncc did however do away with their executive director for the sole reason she was white, being white, she was forced out in the name of diversity

It could lead to an interesting Dem convention this year. But the DNC ultimately still left the choice up to themselves if doubt arises.

Democratic Superdelegate Rule Changes for 2020

Unpledged delegates, better known as superdelegates* will make up about 17% of Democratic Party delegates in 2020. These party insiders are part of each state's delegation, but are not committed to vote based on the outcome of the state's primary or caucus. This has caused considerable friction over the years. This came to a head in 2016 when many superdelegates announced early support for Hillary Clinton, creating the perception that the party was putting its thumb on the scale in her favor against Bernie Sanders.

As a result, the party has made a significant change for 2020. Superdelegates will no longer vote on the first ballot at the convention unless there is no doubt about the outcome. To win on the first ballot, the frontrunner must secure the majority of pledged delegates available during the nominating contests (primary and caucus) leading up to the Democratic Convention. We estimate^ 3,768 total pledged delegates, with a majority being 1,885.

If the frontrunner has fewer than 1,885 delegates, the pledged delegate vote will† lead to a contested convention. On subsequent ballots, all delegates become unpledged and superdelegates will also vote. A majority of all 4,532 delegates (2,267) will be needed to secure the nomination. Given the large field, front-loaded calendar and the party's proportional allocation process, a contested convention is by no means an unlikely outcome.
On the first ballot they are left out.

OMG! This is fucking hilarious!!!

Tulsi Gabbard committed political suicide last night. She landed a few gloves on the left's darling, Kamala Harris, so now she has to go.

Tulsi Gabbard is being "Trumped"!

Brought to you by the same folks who gave us "Russian collusion". LMAO!!!

Sorry, Tulsi. Your candidacy just died an untimely death. You've been declared a Russian operative!

LMFAO!!!
Tulsi Gabbard went after Harris with a vengeance, attacking her tenure as California's AG.

Are we looking at a Biden/Gabbard ticket?
de Blasio is an idiot. he couldn't make Trump cry with pepper spray. Originally Posted by The_Waco_Kid

They postulated that Tulsi had quickly memorized her her entire plan of attack and then as soon as she hit the stage wrote it out for use throughout the debate.

If any of the forethought is true, then damn, Tulsi is fucking genius compared to the rest.

I take it however with a grain of salt since it was MSNBC commentators who were already ripping CNN for the debates.
I was waiting for Gabbard to say, "look bitch, we all know you gave head to get ahead".

I like a good cat fight.

On topic- s distasteful as Trump is to me on a personal basis - his agenda is more in tune with my political leanings.

Saw no one and nothing to capture my Vote.

Harris camp accusing Gabbard of "Russian Collusion" is just too far out in left field (so to speak. )
Who in this America would believe that with no Nadler or Schiff to wave the "Evidence" against Gabbard in their McCarthyite little enraged fists.

Oh, I forgot - it is the DPST party
Never Mind that last bit!

The basics of the DPST party - Open Borders, Free stuff for All -and We Promise to make the Rich pay for it All!!!!

Most disagree with you on Biden's performance -- far from great but much better than the 1st debate. It isn't easy playing defense all night long when idiots like DeBlasio are coming after you. Probably Harris will be hurt based on last night's performance. We shall see in the next few days whether or not Biden drops in the polls.

The clear winner last night was Booker.

As an aside, I watched the Stephen Colbert show from the last 2 nights and he did an imitation of Bernie Sanders that had me on the floor laughing. Perfect voice imitation and his arms flapping.
