Congratulations to Donald Trump on an unexpected, fantastic victory. I voted for Clinton as the lesser of 2 evils but the majority of voters of this country want change from the status quo. Trump has made many promises to the citizens of this country and I hope in 9-10 week he starts fulfilling those promises. I am skeptical about how good a President he will be but he is OUR President and I support him and hope he turns out to be a rousing success.

One problem with our great nation is evidenced with the vicious posts on this board. I realize that many will gloat and hiss. In my opinion, Trump has never demonstrated the level of public spirit and an interest in advancing the public good that I want to see in our president. But it is obvious he is a complicated and intelligent person. I hope he can do what he says he wants to do. I hope he is sincere. Unifying our nation at this point in our history will be one of the great challenges in our history.
