Censorship

Outdoorsman's Avatar
The censorship is the closing of the thread, not removal of the post. When a thread is closed that is in fact a form of censoring. No more comments on that topic.

I do understand firsthand the issues, but my issue is no rule was broken for the thread to be closed unless I read rule #22 wrong? Only in extreme circumstances should a post or thread be shut down, that us my reading. How many threads in co-ed are ads? A large percentage and so what, it is always that way.

My reading is Nikki has been polite and cordial and them she was blasted. Nikki was being bullied by another provider, that is how i see it. Nikki asked me, as i was a previous mod, who should she contact. I suggested all the mods. What is the issue with that? I always had as many opinions as possible when i was mod, that was a common practice, has that been stopped?

I am tired of this, she is banned and i have said my piece.

I have always known that I could never be an ASPD/Eccie moderator, and continue to live with myself, having my balls so constrained.... knowing trash when I smell it, but not being allowed to send it to the dump, permanently, repeatedly.... no matter how many times it took!

Welcome to the rest of your tenure as NOLA Mod, Dave.... I feel for ya

As I mentioned before, I was advised by others this was the proper course of action.

I don't know, but she could have avoided it all with one click of the edit button the PM button.

Being a mid is a thankless job .....
When you're right you're wrong ,
When your wrong there is no forgiveness ....

This entire episode was uncalled for ....
I don't mean to ad to the drama , however I noticed that one provider is banned for
2 WEEKS while she says that she is actually taking a 2 week Vacation...Looks like
it works out kinda good for her......But somehow none of this makes sense to me
and if Dave could answer this question, Doesnt everytime a Provider make / comment
on another Providers thread of anykind slightly resemble an AD ?.... Because to me , most Providers have Dates for touring included in the normal posting format.
and for an added note if you go back and read reviews of Taylor for her 1st or 2nd
review ever someone compared her to Nikki and I'd be inclined to think hard feelins
started then and built up over time....Both are beautiful women who have a thriving
customer base so it just don't all add up......

Censorship is the lazy modtard way of controlling the masses. Closing threads, editing posts, and unnecessarily pointing fucktards is lazy modtarding. The dead modtards tend to be the best modtards. But it appears that the self destruction of taylor in this thread led to her vacation. Outdoorsman posted his thoughts in a clear and non judgemental way. taylor took it as a direct hit at her and the sparks began to fly. She is lucky if she only two weeks off for her transgressions.
Pornodave69, you also make some excellent points. Actually, you've pointed out things from a different perspective that I had not previously considered. Very well thought out and I do appreciate the thankless job you are doing as moderator.

Creating this post makes me think of a scene from "Fiddler On The Roof" when Tevye and many of the town's men are gathered around his milk cart having a heated discussion. After one man make a point, Tevye says, "You're right." Then the other man makes a point and Tevye then says, "You're right." One of the men listening to the discussion says, "Wait, Tevye...He's right and he's right? They can't both be right?" Tevye looks at him, pauses for a second, and says, "You know, you are also right."

And Miss Dallas...as far as your idea of getting back to f*ckin...YOU ARE ALSO RIGHT!! LOL!

If it's been done in the past and allowed it should not have been.

anytime a provider puts her actual dates and or donations amounts then that should be constituted as an ad

just a vague discussion should not warrant it being an ad

am I right PD?
Outdoorsman's Avatar
If your definition of an ad is place and date, every single thread Dallas posts in must be closed. Look at her signature line. That my friend is just ridiculous and if that is where this site is going good luck everyone.

When threads are closed, members attacked, warned, they think twice about posting. That is bullying and it stiffles the purpose of this board, IMHO.

It was my understanding when I was a mod that I was not the Hobby police, what people do or did outside this board had nothing to do with the board and I would never threaten a member and then post it publically, that is humiliating! Nikki will get a vacation if she contacts Taylor? What two providers do outside this board is completely irrelevant to this board! They contact each other, what does ECCIE care?

Dave you keep mentioning the post in the wrong thread, not a big deal. Closing threads is the main issue, no extreme circumstances occurred in Nikki's thread that was closed. It was not an ad. What did Nikki really do? She posted on wrong thread and apologized for it. Then she is attacked byTaylor, the post is removed, Taylor brags and boasts about her victory over Nikki, then Nikkis thread is closed and no where in guidelines can anyone provide the actual rule. The rule you posted says make sure in right location, like in NOLA or in BR those locations not forum. That rule does not apply here, there is a difference between forum and location. Right location means right city or place not right forum.

I took outing or threats of outing extremely seriously and I banned people for it, such as Santa, one year ban. This community cannot operate safely with a delusional person amongst us willing to crush our privacy at any given moment. Members see what is happening do you think they are encouraged to join in or stay back? i think most will not share or post, just me.

I banned Annie once and i do not remember exactly for how long, i had rules that clearly stated her infractions. London was banned as she too would threaten to out members, and her ban was not for 2 weeks. There is a discussion area in staff, .maybe post issue there and get some opinions, just a suggestion.

Dallas i mean no harm and IMHO your sig line is just fine, just using an example of how ridiculous the definition is of an ad. if we ignore the situation and remain quiet, nothing improves and the powers that be continue to disintergrate the purpose of this board.

hey babe...no disrespect, but in ALL muy post I have NEVER done any harm or started drama to ANYONE! I do have my dates in my sig line,so when I post I cannot help it if it looks like an ad...I never put "ad criteria" in the discussion body part.......I also post a lot cause it is fun and this is my community....I do not NEED to drum up business,I do quite well, thank you!
I put dates in my sig line cause I travel fulltime now and want to keep my repeat guys informed.

I was told I can put that in my sig line...if not, then a mod can ask me to remove it....a lot of providers have the same kinda sig lines.
I am under MORE scrutiny as a top poster so therefore I try to keep drama free..........I see lots of gals "breaking rules" like "pussy shots" in showcases, but If I put one in my showcase,I will damn for sure get "told about it"....lol

If I have offended you Outdoors baby,I am so sorry...I have always considered you a great person!
I am just a provider here who is trying to have some fun/make some friends/and make a little money
