While the concept of Red Flag laws is attractive and seems to be derived from "common sense", it is surrounded by a wide pool of quick sand.

The complications lie in free speech, unlawful taking and lack of due process to name a few of these pols. Most of this involves The Bill of Rights and SCOTUS decisions.

All of that does not preclude some form of Red Flag protections, just that the subject must be looked at carefully and examine unexpected ramifications of she government's seizure of otherwise lawfully owned property . . .just on someone's say so.

Nothing but red flags in this restroom exchange.
