John McCain a true American hero!

Devo I do appreciate the absurdity of your dot connection had to go all the way back to Benedict Arnold hmm? I mean of course with that comparison I am left with no other option that to throw my hands up and exclaim 'oh gosh how wrong could I have been??!??' lmao.

I hold McCain accountable for his Obamacare vote I remember the word traitor coming up but on his military service my comments come without regard to partisan agenda. Being a patriot in my opinion means being able to celebrate someone whether I agree with them on political issues or not.

and people have been questioning McCain's "conservatism" long before Trump appeared on the political scene.

If his last name wasn’t McCain he would have been washed out of the Navy.

McCain is a war hero. This is a fact, not an opinion.

And yes, I say so.

Just because a person served. Does not make them a hero. Whether in combat or peacetime. McCain sold out his fellow servicemen for preferential treatment while captured.
That is not a hero!

I think I can judge. Middle East USMC vet who saw actual combat. Let's leave it at that.

If anything McCain is a crook. Maybe a traitor.

Interesting. Now military service is under attack from the far-right too. Can we just do away with Memorial Day and Veterans Day then? How do we know if the people we are thanking for their service were heroes or not?

And can we stop with this nonsense of playing the national anthem and "honoring our vets" at sporting events too? These people weren't heroes. Not all of them anyway. Certainly not that guy throwing out the first pitch today. Just play ball and stfu!
