The old worn saying, "the truth hurts" is sometimes true, especially in sex, love and politics.

But reviews are just like providers they require research. When I read a bad review I check out the writers other reviews. If he is a consistant giver of bad reviews, especially under the guise of honesty, I disregard him as a reviewer.

If reviews are so essential, then why is that there are a number of utr providers who have done quite well for years?

Back in Jersey these were called "safety girls." We understood why they had these restrictions, and they still had a pretty good following. They also apparently had fantastic skills for CBJ

But yeah, like was called out earlier, this blogger/escort does not want to do this. She hates it. She returns to it as she feels she is good at it and it pays well. While she is a safety girl (nothing wrong with that, just not my cup of tea) she views her job and clients with disdain and contempt. As far as I could tell from her blog, she is a very sad person. She feels isolated (as I'm sure this job is) and cannot get a well paying job to support herself and family (as most people can't with this shit economy) thus she turns to escorting.

I feel sorry for her, I really do. But at the same time I question her motives. All her problems (aside from being jaded from the biz) are money related. She routinely to her own admitting makes poor relationship decisions, and this causes her to move a lot. Only further adding financial stress. I know I'm missing out on some of this as I myself don't have kids, but man, money seems to seriously be the complaint I read from her site the most.

In her case I would say one bad review might hamper business. Mostly as she doesn't want to reference her former aliases. After reading her blog, I would never want to see her because I know how much she resents her clients and herself.

In the case of the blogger, reviews are not her problem nearly so much as her self-image and poor attitude. jmho

As a provider with not one bad review on TER and on her way to TER top 100,
I would say that one or two bad reviews wouldn't hurt my business. Heck if 5 guys that have never met me can bad mouth me on a hooker board and it hasn't hurt my business then of course a bad review cannot. Those that have seen me know how awesome I am and that's all that matters. Yes everyone has their off days but I try my best to not work on those. Just sayin....

TER's rating system sounds as complicated as the BCS.

A bad review can hurt a lady's business, a string of bad reviews can force her to look at other marketing avenues, a flair for drama after a negative review can be more damaging.
