For the gents:Actually, none of the above. When I see specials, I wonder: "Why does this lady need to run specials?, Why aren't her previous clients returning?" Running specials is not a sign of strength. It cheapens the provider's image to me.

If I have seen the provider before, and enjoyed my time with her, I would use a monetary reduction to buy more time with her. Of course, if I _really_ liked a provider, I would ignore her specials and just pay her her regular rate for each visit.
