Remember when Secret Service agents claimed they'd testify under oath that Cassidy Hutchinson was wrong about Trump in the SUV on January 6, and then they admitted later that yeah she's actually right?

I think anybody but Trump wins again in a two horse race. And will always win. Originally Posted by Yssup Rider

This is hysterical. They ask for information, there isn’t anything remotely close to the debunked story the tween girl made up, so they freak and pretend there actually was but it was deleted. Fucking clown world. Originally Posted by Jacuzzme

... Lemme try:

... NO - the secret service DID NOT admit that the girl
was right.... THEY DISPUTE HER STORY!

Not what "she heard" - but that the events in the suv
Did Not Happen.

#### Salty
Actually they did not. The Secret Service said that Engle would testify that it did not happen as described. All she could relay was what she was told. Also, a DC police officer has supposedly corroborated some aspects of the story, meaning some aspects of the story content are true or at least corroborated as true. Other people have also stated they too heard the story so evidently someone that was in the SUV told the story to at least 2 people. Further supporting her recitation.

Don’t backtrack now since you claimed she was lying.
... No backtracking here - the secret service claimed
this did not happen.... I wasn't there, I presume YOU
weren't there... and we know the girl wasn't there.

So a police officer who WASN'T there is gonna corroborate
"aspects" of the story? ... How nice.
What's he (or she) gonna corroborate? That President Trump
rode in the suv on 6th Jan??

You're making all of us laugh with your so-called
"barrister-ways" there, mate...

#### Salty
The officer was there it appears. Or at least that’s how it read.
... No need for YOU to backtrack, mate...
How WHAT read?? .... Either the officer was in the suv
or not.... Let's not get silly here.... Nobody gives
much care to what story people HEARD.... They care
about what actually happened. ... And the people
IN THE SUV have stated that her story is WRONG.
Trump DID NOT try to grab the wheel - or grab a bloke
by the neck.

WHY are you playing games with this??

#### Salty
games? I can only relay what I read, which appeared to be that the officer was there and said what he actually saw, rather than what he was told. But I dont know exactly what he said since I have not seen his testimony.

Nonetheless, you have said that she was lying for fame or whatever. This clearly appears not to be the case. She appears to have relayed honestly what she heard from Ornato.

Did he assault Engle or grab the wheel. I dont know. Did he do something, it appears so.
... And yet - the story is that Trump tryed to grab the
wheel and grabbed a fellow by the neck.

That's it.

... So it either happened or did not happen.
The fellows inside the suv at the time - including Trump
- have ALL stated that it didn't happen.

I don't care what anyone heard first-hand.
I don't care what anyone heard second-hand.

YOU can twist it and turn it and even mark it with a T.
The committee is pushing yet-another bullshit narrative.

All this 6th January is starting to make Democrats bristle.
AOC is starting to question things.

And what does any of this matter as far as a criminal referral goes? Nothing. It was meant to be a show to show how bad Trump was and if along the way they had to make a few things up..... shit, they've been doing that for more than 5 years now. They don't know how to stop at this point. What they put in motion over 5 years ago has gotten away from them to some extent but I have no doubt one or two people have heard all this and lost faith in Trump but not enough to save the Democrats.
The grabbing the wheel has nothing to do with a criminal referral. That’s why no one cares about that except Trump and Trumpys. The other actions in the run up to Jan 6 and the fake electors are the possible criminal acts. It’s the ultimate slieght of hand. Get Fox and Newsmax and Salty of the world to get hung up on a lurid but inconsequential detail so they don’t effectively dispute the actual criminality. And there’s people like you who don’t see a broader picture, only a single item “did he tell people to attack the Capitol”. It’s pretty short sighted but we all are who we are. I think the DoJ will charge several people, including Meadows. Trump, not so much, but the committee has plenty of info and sworn testimony. The DoJ will have the power of a grand jury to get testimony from people declining currently. Garland should appoint a special counsel if he’s concerned about the politics but I suspect he won’t for reasons unknown.

On Meadows and others, I've taken YOUR advice and I don't care since none of them are running for President like Hunter, remember?
