Au Revoir, Mr.Chan

No, MGL has his own style. He always lets his buddies know when he is gone and when he is back. He is so considerate to us. I wonder why he retired after meeting Blad for lunch. Hmmmmm....

i have enjoyed his literary style and the depth of his thoughts. It is extraordinarily difficult to realize that I will not be able to glean ways to view situations without his sage advice. Hopefully he can return some day to enlighten us again! I hope so!

I must say, I had a hard time with Mr. Chan's style initially, but thew grew on me quickly. His posts certainly were entertaining and topical to the conversation. I hope his next chapter is a good one...

MGL, good luck.
Don't worry, I'm still here folks. :-P

I mourn the loss of Mr. Chan. I still owe him a breakfast at Waffle House.

AYM
well damn. that really blows.
but best to him
As an occasional interloper to the Natural State, I found Mr Chan's sense of style, wit, and wisdom engaging as well as informative.

I will miss his postings.

Be well, Mr. Chan - happy trails.
I venture away for a while and look what happened! I am bummed.

Chan, if you're reading this, know that you have many friends here.

Mr. Chan had a style that was truly one of a kind. His unmasked wit and charm will no doubt be missed by all who had the pleasure of making his acquaintance. I, for one, am honored that I had the privilege of seeing him one last time before his departure. Those memories will be cherished.....

To quote my favorite band Genesis, song: The 11th Earl of Mar, Album: Selling England by the Pound.

"Bury your memories, bury you friends,
Leave them alone for a year or two
Until the memories grow hazy, and the legends come true,
Then do it again,,,
Some things never end....."

It's not a practice of MINE to mix other business outside of the hobby with my clients. Instead of using that energy for a photoshoot, I like to maintain my focus on providing a visceral experience to fuel a thousand daydreams.
