Indy’s dead for good?

I think the demise of Indys may be the best thing for the Pgh hobbying scene. No more antiquated, confusing, and biased vouch system. No more provider pack mentality or soap operas.
The review system here is why this site works. More guys write reviews because they don't have to worry about unnecessary backlash (a deterrent on Indys) and there is also premium incentive to do so. I think I can speak for most guys that we're here for relevant information to make an informed decision. Nothing more than that.

I go into the new Indy site just about everyday. The top three ‘channels’ are where the ads appear to be. Availablenow, Ads, and Pittsburghads. Step into the 21st century

I see some women advertising here now who wouldn't even speak to non greens, or post ads in the unwashed, err, untouched ad section.

I guess it's back to courtesy for all potential customers like it used to be.

Id love a 21st century site to go ti but that is definitely not it lol.
Throwing my hat in the ring;
Old Indy's was great for window shopping. Occasionally I'd find something there, but mostly, painstakingly, I'd find something elsewhere. About the Vouch system - who cares? The girls I saw from there could have cared less about vouches or statuses.
The intel here far exceeds anything found elsewhere for the hobbyist.
Old Indy's didn't have 100's of fake ads to weed through like most 'free' sites. That I liked.
The new Indy's is confusing to me. I may not be the sharpest knife in the chandelier but I can usually figure something out given enough time. I'm getting better at it, but it's still confusing to me.
To me, the new Indy's is more hands-off for the owners, less responsibility and more "it's just the internet so it's not my [court case]" mentality.

For a site like this, there are plenty of pre-made or cheap to purchase templates out there. Nothing wrong with that in my opinion. A site like this doesnt need to be rocket science, just functional and easy to maintain, as the guys who manage and own it most likely arent spending alot of time on it, all volunteer status, right?

I agree eccie works because we are all telling the facts on a review. Sometime brutally, but hey if the experience sucked, why kiss ass?

Those that were on aspd indys ter big doggie and the others we have long forgot should all know that it isnt so much about the site. Its about who is on the site. The reason indys sucked so bad is everyone with all the intel was over here.

You know what perplexes me? The PGH hobbyists who have for years been Brooding, Speculating, Complaining and (yes) Conspiracizing about the TOS review system for years. Never understood the whole controversy and whole debate.....

The TOS review system was really that much of a problem? Really? Sure, it was mostly positive-reinforcement reviews, but I think few if any of those reviews were scams or dishonest. The guy posted he had a good time, he probably had a good time. Read a providers reviews and then compare that to all her other attendant press. Read what all the guys who have seen her BCD have to say about her. The guys who like the same "type" of girl as you do- pay closer attention to what they have to say. Providers acquire general and specific "reputations" over time. Providers either "get it" or they don't, right....?

Before TOS most of the reviews on ASPD were mostly positive also. And some of the negative ones would create thread-shit shows and entertaining reading material. Then all that started happening on TOS. Sure, providers could respond to reviews on TOS. And I did not care about that either. A providers general and specific "reputation" always got "established" within a couple months of her debut. What are the "trends" in her BCD Performance press? Usually easy to read and ascertain.....

Does the new TOS format even have reviews anymore? I really don't know. One of the new mission-statements says the new format has moved beyond a "forums" board. So does that mean no reviews? What about Guys Room? What about Co Ed Vouched? Is Eccie the only "forums" board in PGH now.....?

I agree with Tolstoy. Back during my start I seriously had 3 or 4 glowing reviews on each page. I look back at pictures of myself then and realize time has served me well. I had a gut and really wasn't anything to write home about. Those reviews sounded like I was Pamela Anderson.

Now I'm much more concerned with my health and spending a ton of time in the gym and I look much better now than I did then but until the demise of TER I had an 8 average in looks then and an 8 average after my come back. I think if you truly have an amazing time and the pictures are honest guys have a hard time writing a mean review. Especially in other cities post fosta guys walk in and almost look confused because I look like my photos.

I started on escorts.com way back when it was a good site but someone reviewed me on aspd and the rest is, well, obvious lol
