I think you should have honored it since you gave no deadline. Poor guy.

The saying is the customer is ALWAYS right. I have customers that think that. I would probably do it and learn. Next time there would be fine print with a expiration date.

Let him claim his prize and be done with it. Next time make sure to clearly state any time limits to avoid this whole mess from happening again.

I think you need to have another drawing!!!!!! Although I haven't had the pleasure (this could very well be), and I do guarantee I'd collect much within the month. Please put my entry into each of the proper hats.

I'm not sure why the time that has past matters?
It would be one thing if time was set aside previously and you were stood up or whatever,
but why does it matter if the session takes place now instead of back then?

But now, I don't think that Dakota and Jimmyww could have a great time together (...unless http://eccie.net/showthread.php?t=1006164&highlight=).

And who really cares about the he said she said stuff. As humans, we tend to never recall anything exactly as it happened. Ours brains interpret and distort everything according to our experiences and what our desires are.

Thats just it... I am pretty sure at some point he was told....

Why should I HAVE to give him something from LAST year....? Originally Posted by dakota123

He certainly showed that he valued his prize.

I have to agree with Chuck here. A person should always keep their word regardless of when it was said. I've had girls "promise" me things (discounts & even freebies) for a lil extra help here & there. Sometimes they come thru, sometimes they don't. But I do notice that they will look for ANY kind of excuse to put it off or retract their offer. Originally Posted by JusticeMutt

I don't ever see a provider whining because they didn't get what they were promised...but I haven't been on the board lately maybe they have.

On topic*

Next time put a claim by date to avoid any misunderstandings

Dakota123 and Amelia are great providers and at that time they were able (finically) to offer those prizes. 10 months is a long time.....ijs

Dude couldn't get back to y'all in 10 months? Must have had some serious RW issues going on. I wouldn't have waited 10 minutes to jump on the doubles offer.
I think she is brilliant. No intention on honoring his prize, then gets an attitude and he doesn't want to even see her.
I think her attitude made the so called "amazing deal" not so amazing.

If I were him, I would just see Amelia, she is an amazing deal no matter the price.
There are times when a thread goes awry and it reminds me how thankful I am to no longer own a business. The customer is always right. What a crock of shit. The customer that claims that bit of fiction is always the one who isn't right. Towards the end of my ownership I started treating the good customers as though they were right even when they weren't, and the bad customers were given the phone number of my competitor. That did more towards increasing sales than anything else.

Should Amelia and Dakota, or any provider have a time limit on prizes awarded? That is probably a good idea. One the other hand we all know they hobby has its ups and downs, and to assume a provider has the time and financial wherewithal to host a free session 10 months after it was offered is ballsy, really big ballsy. I've read the low opinions some of you have regarding the providers, I've heard your whines over beer and whiskey, why are you now trying to act like the hobby is some sort of regulated currency market?

With that in mind, if I had won a free session with Dakota123 is would not have gone unused for any great length of time. However, assuming I had lost my head, or awesome cock for that matter, and not claimed the prize for 10 months I would have come at Dakota with a different offer, maybe an extended session at her regular price or something like that. Put a little honey on the approach and she would likely slurp it right up.
