Say My Name!

The Sixth Beatle's Avatar
My favorite band of all time is The Beatles. During the course of the 1960s, there were quite a few folks characterized as the fifth Beatle (George Martin, Brian Epstein, Murray the K, Billy Preston, Eric Clapton, etc.) and I thought I'd jump back in line and be the sixth.

I'm new to this forum, but I figured I have to start somewhere...

One of my uncles had nicknames for all of my cousins (cupcake, buttercup, twinkle, etc...). My older brother was Wild Bill and I always tagged along and wanted to do everything he did. So I became Little Willy (as in 'Free Willy). I had a temper and I hated that name (at least it's better then Pete and Re-Pete).

I like to think I dropped a few letters to be easier to type, but I think we all know I was trying to distance myself from any chance of being called something like little wee-wee. I like to think of myself as larger than average, but I'm sure so does every other man out there. ....guess that means that half of us are wrong, possibly myself included.

Originally my handle was "lnk", as the three letter abbreviation for the Lincoln, NE airport.

After several people referred to me as "Ink", as in tattooed, I requested a name change from the site admins to capitalize to avoid confusion and me having to correct/explain every time I posted.

I picked it because that's the nearest town of any size to me. Originally Posted by LNK

A play on 'all grace,' and my name Al.

The definition highlights the importance I place on respectful feedback.

I was watching Epic Meal Time when thinking up a name. Their theme song is where I got my handle from. I figured it was fitting because I'm fairly well endowed.

There was a comedy troupe in the late 60's called "Firesign Theatre" and Nick was a cheap gumshoe. Also, I thought people might mistake me for the Governor of North Carolina.......you know how sexy women love power! ;-)

Mine is self explanatory but I've heard from the haters on the board suggesting I change it.
bought a Mac in '84, I'm a guy, and when I thought up the name I was 50 ;-)
I am about 90% Light. However, I do have a small dark side to myself, and it is very dark lol. Hence the character's name "Shadow" in my comic book / superhero stories I write in my blog. She is mostly Good... mostly lol. (insert evil laugh "Muahahaha" lol)

With that now said lol...

Dahlia:
I am obsessed with unsolved murders and serial killers. (Oh this is going downhill at rapid speed LOL). The Black Dahlia murder is one of the most mind boggling, and intriguing of all unsolved murders. There has been some speculation that the Black Dahlia (Elizabeth Short) murder was part of a string of deaths related to a particular serial killer, though it has never been proved Yay or Nay in any one direction. I just find her life before death as well as the events surrounding her murder to be insufferably fascinating. Also on a side note, I wear mostly Black clothing pretty much all the time. I have recently incorporated clothing with color, but I am Always most comfortable in all black.

Urban:
I lived way out in the country my entire life. While I did enjoy and love that lifestyle, I knew that when I left K-State that I would reside in an urban/city type environment forever. I absolutely love the Urban/city lifestyle, and find I Need all the noise, people and hustle-n-bustle to sleep at night lol.
