Some comments:

Here we go again....with "the best"

Generally....there is no such thing as "the best" except maybe in the 100 meter dash. (That might even have indoor vs. Outdoor IIRC.)

Becks: very reliable and soggy home made fries rock

Southwells: the heights location is the best. I've never left unhappy or hungry. And there is a Venezuelan girl there with a bangin' azz. It gives me a chance to practice my Spanish.

Cliffs: no thanks

Burger Shack: I loved that place on memorial. It was a fucking dirty ass shit hole. That's the way it should be. The new location sucks. At least I can still pile on as much pico and peppers as I want but it is just not the same.

I'm trying to think of one place in the heights that is pretty good...."hub cap"?

Somebody mentioned a steak house. I've had a pretty damn good burger at Rio Ranch. By default it is on wheat bread which is blasphemy but you can change to white bun. I order like half of "pittsburgh" style: Charred on the outside....rare on the inside. It is hard to beat.

Back on 5 guys....that is an expensive dry rock if you ask me. They ruin the bun and the veggies are crap. yeah the fries are good...that's all I eat when I'm forced to go there.
