There is nothing sleazy about encouraging masses of people who are in precarious positions that it would be in their best interest to make contact with a reputable attorney of their choosing before trouble arises.

Shyster. Shark. Etc. They're jokes, people. Poking fun at oneself.

I know thousands of attorneys and I can definitely say that I have no doubt that SJ is indeed not only an attorney, but also a knowledgeable and reputable one.

He's a great resource here and spends a great deal of time helping the community. He gets little to nothing in return. Why on earth people would attempt to discredit him, I'm not sure. But I'm dumbfounded.

Enough said. Now, would anyone like to plan an event in Dallas? Let me know. (<---- THAT is self promotion).
Crude slander. Giggle. It would be crude libel actually. Ok. I'm done.
I don't even know him. I merely stated my opinion on the subject at large, which has nothing to do with him personally. And, my questioning if he is an attorney at all also does not discredit him--that is an opportunity for him to prove he is.

Clearly, if charged, an attorney can represent anyone. And, I'm honestly not sure how this is handled financially, since money obtained illegally cannot be used to pay for representation--this could lead to disbarment:

No, I'm not an attorney. But, I read a lot on pertinent topics. I was merely saying that someone who knowingly risks disbarment by accepting illegal funds is sleazy--a sentiment echoed in the show Breaking Bad. Most likely, this would fall on the providers side.

Ahh Muse,
You are provocatively good. And, on a Sunday eve no less.
Thank you for causing me to mix a really nice dry Manhattan with a fav gin.
Make me a vodka martini and I will surely join you.
PC. I believe you made your sleazy comment because you don't understand the nature of a retainer or the suggestion that was made.

There are many many reasons people in the hobby community should have an attorney on retainer or at least the number of one on hand. Only a couple of them involve the client committing an illegal act. Other include: Blackmail. Infidelity. Custody issues. Tax issues. Business Licensing. Harassment. Being the victim of a crime. I could go on and on.

While many people like to watch a bunch of legal television and read extensively about the law, there is one thing many forget. Law school exists to teach students to THINK like lawyers. That usually means "outside the box" - something that is usually lacking when lay people attempt to interpret the law.

Ok. I'm done now. Like I said. Best thread ever!
That's exactly what I said, but you can reword it and say it's different if you want to.

In case you missed it, I did say this would probably only involve a providers side. If convicted of pros. then any money obtained by said "crime" may not be eligible for payment to an attorney.

But, thank you for informing attorneys can represent criminals. I did not know that.

PhillyChik, are you REALLY asserting I'm not an attorney? Obviously, you're new around here. And stupid. Would any other member like to handle this? Originally Posted by ShysterJon

Speaking of which, what method do you use to be sure that all the monies you collect are legally earned?

While I don't like the idea of paying anyone $$$ an hour without doing her the butt way and cumming in her mouth, in this case it would be you before someone using Breaking Bad as a legal reference. Originally Posted by JohnnyCap

One last thing that will you hopefully will consider. 90% of what most Providers do is legal. Therefore, it is not wholly illegal for a criminal attorney to accept money from providers. This board also encompasses many parts of the hobby. Strippers, LMT, Dominatrix. Retired individuals, etc.

Take care and Play safe.
I'm not in court. I'm on an escort site. I think the parameters for illustrating points are pretty broad.

Your question regarding money? I don't know the answer to that, obviously. But, I hear it is a slippery slope.

And, thank you for informing me who is available on this site other than providers. Maybe the creators of Escort Client Community Information Exchange would also like to know that from you.

Number of times the State has brought a forfeiture action regarding my fee: 0

Of course, the professors at the Breaking Bad School of Law may have had different experiences.
