How to become REALLY unpopular with providers really fast.

I find stuff like this just ridiculous. I run a business and almost everyday I have people mad because I don't discount, yet I and my employees pay full price at their places of work.

I see some providers running a veteran/armed services discount, but I would never use my time in the Army to receive any discount, especially a lady working as a provider. I'm not judging anyone benefitting from it, and the ladies that have that discount? Very respectful gesture. I just believe my time is worth full price, and so is any provider.

Y'all take this kind of thing way too seriously. Really.
Discounts are given and taken in the hobby all the time. Being offended by someone who asks is just as silly as asking for one in the first place.
Perhaps next time use it as an opportunity instead of an insult. Counter with a discount if he will pay for X number of sessions in advance. Go with the math that suits you. That will probably end the discussion, but instead of fighting the game, play it. He figures he has nothing to lose by asking; you can play the same game too!

Just to tell one on myself, I once fell head over heels for a provider in Austin when I was there for a conference. Got her to come by three days in a row, once for breakfast. The night of the third day I told her at dinner that I was out of entertainment funds. She excused herself to go to the ladies room, never came back. You can be pretty experienced and still get carried away if you're not careful. I'm sure this guy will learn--after he falls out of love with her hotness.

For the newbies, I thought I would throw a few examples on how to become unpopular with the ladies really fast.

Based on actual events from one guy.

Newbie: No ref's ='s higher risk. Asks for a "newbie" discount.

Boo.

Newbie show's up and actually turns out to be cool but wants round 2 when there is only 5 mins left in the session (he booked a half hour session).

Aaaaaa I don't think so buddy.

Newbie: Wants to see you again the next day but wants a discounted session (not so bad really). It doesn't happen.

Newbie: Contacts again and instead of wanting a discounted session, he offers to wash and wax your brand new car in exchange for session.

Ummmmmm....not. I don't bartering for services and if I did, I would post a ISO...sorry. Besides, my car is super clean anyway.

Newbie then wants to know if I will play for 50 roses.

All this coming from 1 guy!

I had a few providers tell me it's offensive when someone sees them and the next day they are already getting reference requests.

And I very much wish their was a way for providers to ad their own reviews to share instead of the reference process.
