former providers showing up on Facebook

I may be a nieve e-Idiot . . .I was shocked recently when I goggled several of my user names and found the text of a message exchange between myself and a provider on her fFicker user group! I had no idea that that text would pop-up on Google so openly with just a search of my username.

I have contacted the Provider to ask if she, as the user-group admin, can spare the time to delete that exchange .

Anymore, I am not sure that I can be by myself at home in the coat closet in our hallway!

On a related topic: How may I de-activate and close my hobby e-mail address on Yahoo?

Again: navigating ECCIE is about the upper level of my computer literacy . . .please be gentle.
The other day i clicked on the "see if he's cheating on you ad" and typed in my hobby email.

Yes .... stupid

But the site told me the address was visible on 7 social networks ... which seemed correct to me. I was tempted to pay the service to give me the list. It would be concerning if they had it right because the email address is generally not displayed on the site.

When i search for it on the web .... it does not appear.

I'm a google/gmail user, love their products, and consider myself pretty tech savvy, but still find it difficult to figure out how to work things with my accounts there, sometimes. You can pretty much find out how to do anything by asking Google.

I stopped using the google voice app last month. I now use a "stupid" hobby phone.
I had a few clients and providers I know pop up as suggested friends.
It has something to do with the new FB update and your contacts like Mojojo explained.
