One of the structures in the network is the urethral sponge (aka the female prostate since it’s analogous to the male prostate). Female ejaculation is the expulsion of that fluid in a drip, gush or squirt. It can be a few drops, a small puddle or a huge flood. Ejaculate is not urine, although it spurts out from the urethra. That’s the same hole pee comes out of, so it’s understandable that people might think it’s urine. But it’s not yellow, doesn’t smell like pee, doesn’t have the same chemical make-up as urine (no urea, no nitric acid). That’s because it’s not urine and doesn’t originate from the bladder. The fluid does contain Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) and Prostatic Acid Phosphatase just as the male prostate fluid does.

On topic though, it's interesting this idea that the skene's gland could cause fluid to backup into the bladder using it as it's reservoir. This would explain the first research discussed in this thread with ultrasound imaging showing partially filled bladders. It would also explain the presence of Urea and Creatinine found in the fluid in the first report along with the PSA. Unfortunately, the quote from 1thickblond comes from some article on a homeopathic tantric type site with no research citation whatsoever so who knows...
It's clearly an interesting but understudied area, of which any physician will tell you there are many in medicine. Sometimes the best medicine or any scientific field has to offer are loosely substantiated theories unfortunately.

If you do a little research you will find out the truth is somewhere in the middle. The original story was very poorly written. The answer is it is a combination of urine and "prostatic secretions" , quoting the same author,
"The only difference was that prostate-specific antigen (PSA) was detected in 5 of the 7 women’s squirting samples. In other words, the fluid released during squirting was primarily urine, but most women had a small amount of a prostatic secretion present in this fluid as well."
So maybe in most women it is primarily urine or even all urine but they did find PSA in some of the samples therefore it is not ALL urine in some woman and possibly someone woman ejaculate primarily PSA.
This explains why some of you, due to your experience, insist it is urine, some insist it is not.
