More people have been (and continue to be) oppressed, tortured, and killed because of how they choose to perceive and worship their god than for any other reason throughout the history of mankind. No god worth worshipping would approve of that. Religion is all about power, control, wealth, and lies. Our southern preachers with their private jets and crystal towers of babel are clear evidence of that.

For those that truly believe in God and Satan and heaven and hell, open your eyes. Religion – ALL religion – including YOURS – is likely your Satan's tool to defeat the value of faith. Celebrate and be honest to whatever faith you choose, be it based on a God or the lucky charms leprechaun. Be good to your neighbor and reject all those that ask for your money and your obedience.

Sorry for the rant. We all have pet peeves I guess.

As I have aged, I continue to lose faith / belief in all religions.

I do tend to migrate to the Christian philosphy because it has worked in my life. I am a person who needs forgiveness in my maturation process. And I TRY to remember to forgive my aquaintance's as I realize they are in that same process. Difficult, but I find valuable and a good emotional catharsis. But one look at EVERY organized religion I have encountered has a repulsive effect one me, and I do tend to hold on to my wallet.

I DO however, reserve the right to make fun of any freakin' liberal, conservative, Jew, Christian, and especially the muslims. Our founding Fathers got it right.

Jesus loves the sinner while hating the sin. Whoresofbabylon appears to hate the sinner while obsessing over the sin.

Was she? I recently watched a program on the History Channel where several scholars stated there is no real proof that Mary Magdalene was a prostitute at all. In fact several felt that the apostles were jealous of her influence with Jesus especially in a time when women were considered below men in stature and unworthy of having any opinions.
