Turned off by ink.

Thank you for the compliments!

The comment "Like graffiti on the Taj Mahal" is not all that nasty of a thing to say - could've been worse

I knew when I posted that picture of myself on a thread called "Turned Off by Tattoos" that I was taking a risk by stirring the pot.

But also, and truly, I think that tattooed skin has the potential to be very, very beautiful.

I generally don't mind girls with tattoos because the artwork has some kind of meaning to it and it's interesting to know. However if you have as much tattoos as Bonnie Rotten then that's just pushing it for me.

Lol, no I'm not going to, yes I have thought about it, but I accept myself as I am.

An insult to her discretion, yes. On the other hand, a great compliment to her body.

(As in, "Elise Jolie, please don't mutilate yourself with the breast augmentation surgery which I know you're probably contemplating right now." Just checked out that showcase/website. Damn.) Originally Posted by roaringfork

Maybe we should start a thread for beautiful, elegant, exquisite artwork? That way the "no tats" thread could contain mostly images of un-inked ladies (also gorgeous too) ands the tats thread could include pictures of folks who've invested lots of time, thought and money into their carefully curated canvases.

I understand that some people really don't like tattoos, but I also know that tattoos are wildly expensive and many men crave illustrated skin. There are high-end providers with high-end ink. Let's showcase them in a non-confrontational way.

Tori, I love your back piece. In my dream home, "The Dream of the Fisherman's Wife" would be hanging in my play room.
I don't mind girls with ink. But the best examples are pornstars, Janine and Julia Bond.
Janine started out with in the porn business with a few small tattoos, she retired and came back with a sleeve. But her tattoos are well place and artsy.

Julia Bond started with her trademark paw tattoos in her breast and a tramp stamp. She retired and unretired but she came back with some random tattoos all over her.

There's ink that's distracting and some that it fits the person like a glove that it belongs there
Currently I do not have tats, but being Hindu, I've been considering getting a small OM sign on my arm or wrist for the longest time. I have yet to get this done but I'm thinking that something delicate in size would look elegant and tame on my petite frame. Just waiting for the inspiration to actually really get it done.

Everyone has a right to preferences. But it's so sad to see that some are willing to demonize a human being for self expression. Everyone that I've met with a tattoo has been for one or more of the following: tribal honoring, spiritual/religious beliefs, recording and expressing during a life stage, self expression through poetry and honoring through body art.

A woman with tattoos (notice the phrase woman with tattoos) should not equate to Demon-Alien Hybrid with six heads and leprosy coming to sever any phallus near it.

The ego is dangerous when uncontrolled.

Not your preference? Don't understand body art in its entirety? Don't appreciate any aspect or very little of? Ok as long as you're happy. But no need to bash someone over it as if they are now beneath others or verboten.

Btw lovely body art ladies. <3
It is a matter of taste...some people like tats some don't ..but like my Momma used to say ..Don't judge a book by its cover because deep inside a lot of these providers that do have Tats there is a beautiful personality inside and a lot of the gals have Tattoos to help express feelings or experiences they have been thru.
If you go out with a lady with Tats ask them about them because usually there is a story behind each one and some are funny and some are very serious.
Most of the providers we see - We might see for an hr or 2 at the longest and then if theres not something you see in them that makes you come back again its over so look past the body art and see if you like the woman - the personality to me is still the most important thing if im planning on seeing her again.

Wow... I had no idea! My tattoos are the result of two decades of dreaming and 100 hours of being under the needle. Oh yeah, and about 5k...

I would do each one again each and every year if I had to, and I can assure you there are more coming.

We can't all like the same thing.

NOTHING turns me off like seeing an otherwise beautiful woman covered in tats. And I don't think I'm alone with those feelings. Originally Posted by Alan418

And 30 years from now when they're in their 50's and 60's , it will still be a reality of their generation. And it will look like crap.

It's interesting to me how many of the higher priced , um, courtesans, on this site are well into or beyond their forties and are generally untattooed. Originally Posted by Joey_Gleet

They look pretty good to me![/QUOTE

If they did not have those tattoos, their overall value would have gone up tremendously. Tattoos give me the impression of damaged people.
