That's understandable, but most don't know it's an app. It just looks like a Michigan number. I've been asked about the area code, I just say it's a company phone and I travel, which isn't too far from the truth. Safety is important, but if my SO found a bunch of provider numbers in my cell, neither them, nor I, would be safe from the wrath that is a red head scorned.

Yup, Google voice. Easy to ditch if need be and you can easily start a new email and get another. It helps when dealing with those providers who, for some reason, still like to keep a black book on their clients.
Google voice is how I do it,my family has one number you guys have another.
Best buy has Verizon prepaid less than a bill gets you a decent android and a month of unlimited service. I agree with Dorothy, when I get a text from the text apps I just ignore them unless I get a p411 or pm.��

Because if its a text app it tells you when they text you that its from whatever app well at least my phone does... Google Voice isnt accepted if your not a well established client... & I will know if your using google voice trust me
