Question of the day for P411 gents...

I view the ad board weekly.
I use the ad boards on P411 to locate new providers as well as get a feel for providers on my TDL. After I look at the ads, I will look at the Provider listings, usually staying on the first page to see who's online or recently active.

These ads are great for areas that ECCIE is not popular.

I also look at the ECCIE ads

I use it quite a bit, especially out of town.

I use the P411 Ad Boards frequently...and since I travel, it's very convenient that it allows you to save cities in the search criteria.

But...as Gina has found, there are providers who blanket the boards across multiple markets, thereby making the Ad Boards a less than efficient marketing platform for the ladies who really want to use it, whether in their home base of for travelling.

There are providers who advertise simultaneously in Dallas, Fort Worth, Mid-Cities, Austin, San Antonio, Shreveport, etc, etc.

I think Gina is just making a good business decision and I appreciate it...and am not shy about gifting P411 points.

Don't get me wrong.. I understand WHY she is doing it-- but for those of us who have always obeyed the letter AND the spirit of the rules... ugh!! I've never been a "blanketer"... back when I still used the incall in Garland, I would advertise in Dallas and Garland.. but other than that... I never saw the point in blanketing an area and disappointing people who want to see me in a town that I'm not in.

I wonder if she could still make it free for ladies who do use it sparingly, perhaps allowing one per day per location, then charge for "blanketers"?

I have several regional filters set up. If I want to see ads from women in Fort Worth, mid-cities or Arlington, I pull up my "Tarrant" filter. The blanketers are immediately apparent; I'll see 3 ads by the same lady, all bunched together. Cutting down on that practice would benefit me, too.
From what I read, the new fee had more to do with ladies not being able to follow the new vocab and terminology rules. It is taking too much time to sort through the ads and pull them only to have the lady put up another one with the same errors. I'm sure it's especially frustrating if she is traveling and putting up the same ad in multiple cites, hence the higher fee for other locations.

I agree it would be more fair to penalize those that directly break the rules but I can see why Gina is doing it this way.
