I'm not saying I would pick a fight with the police. Anytime I have ever had any interaction with the police they have been extremely nice and accommodating. (these interactions weren't hobby related). Hold on, I did have a hobby related issue once. But it was bullshit. The Dallas Police would have never pulled some shit like this.
However, The police still infringe on our rights. A older gentleman can't go to a hotel with a younger woman without being involved in illegal activity? That's ridiculous.
If me standing up for myself and not allowing them to bully me into complying with something so ABSURD is considered picking a fight with them then per your perception I may seem confrontational.
They aren't searching my things without a search warrant. I'd like to see them get one with the evidence "a hotel clerk thought they looked suspicious because of the age difference" pshh.
Its not gonna happen.
Really, why would we use our balls just to prove something? Look at the posting above yours! You don't get it. You seem to want to pick a fight with the police and courts. Right or wrong, they are in charge!"Yes. And I was upset about it all. I have a good friend who does a lot of defense stuff in the area. I asked him about it. He basically said in Lenexa, the local judge isn't going to side with you regardless. So if something did come out of it, you'd lose in local court and have to file in Federal court for a violation of your civil rights as it relates to unwarranted search and seizure. Needless to say, expensive."
Fade away into the background. Never ever argue with the police, one doesn't need the trouble it causes. Learn to always say: "Yes, Sir" and "No, Sir" to the police. You may not agree with what I say here, but do it.
With your lack of understanding, get the hell out of Johnson County before sundown because you probably won't blend in. If your dress, speech, or body language yells out that you are a whore expect to spend some time in jail and some money for an attorney and court fines before you have a chance to spend another $10,000 to $20,000 for your chance to have your attorney talk to a federal judge.
Now then, is it worth it to you to prove that you are right by being angry about the situation? Wouldn't you rather be happy and move on to someplace else?
