Do yall realize how many times the ladies deal with ncns ... daily. It happens what happens if she drops her phone in water and it's fried, there are so many instances that would explain why they don't call or text . Give people a break
We are all human and in this life, we all know..things happen. I have had that happen twice and both times, the provider MORE than made up for it. I have great respect for all providers and I always try to assume positive intent until proven otherwise.

Thank You Lovely Ladies

Long rant coming …

I can totally understand that RW issues exist and that a reputable provider can have a bad day – but unless someone speaks up about it, how do you know whether it’s an unusual incident or a pattern of consistently sloppy TCB?

Answer: you post a note about the incident and see what other customers have to say. If a few reputable customers speak out and say that it’s unusual for her and she usually handles the business well, then you shrug it off and forgive. If others chime in with “me too” then you take her off your TDL.

But if no-one says anything at all, you have to learn about a provider the hard way. If customers silently accept poor service, sweep incidents like this under the rug, then the information doesn’t get out there – you don’t know the good providers from the bad, and ECCIE is no better than the backpages or moco.

Service providers should handle their business like it's a business - because it is. What we’re doing here isn’t social dating, but a professional service. If a plumber, landscaper, or accountant booked a service and then didn’t turn up or call in advance to cancel, the customer would be steamed about it and post a note on Yelp or Angie’s List. Good customers aren’t turned away by one bad incident, but if there are several of them, they are (rightly) cautious of the provider.

It’s also in the interest of good providers to see that the bad ones are outed. If you keep your appointments and deliver good service, you’ll get more business (as well you should). If you make the occasional mistake (as we all do) and someone posts a remark, count on your other customers to speak up on your behalf. And all is well. If you screw up routinely, then you’ll (rightly) lose business.

And in the interests of fair play … I do believe that customers who NCNS a provider get flagged in the womens-only area of the site. Providers are not at all forgiving of customers who flake, and that’s completely fair – but if it is to be “fair” for the customer it’s “fair” for the provider as well when a customer posts an incident like this.

To personalize it – I’m a good customer. I show up on time, don’t haggle, play by the rules, etc. and I expect that providers are happy to book me because of it. Should I have a RW issue and can’t call to cancel – get stuck in traffic, my phone dies, end up in hospital, or whatever – I do expect the provider would post an NCNS on me, and I do hope that the other providers would speak up to say “he’s usually a good customer, something must have come up.”

But if I do that multiple times to multiple providers, then I can’t claim to be a “good customer” anymore – and providers will (justly) start declining or ignoring my inquiries. It doesn’t help a provider if others are sweeping bad behavior under the rug, and I’d like to think the girls help each other avoid bad customers.

So it works both ways, or ought to work both ways – silence is no-one’s friend.

So "good on you" to ElNacho, the OP who mentioned the incident. And “good on you” to the other customers who’ve spoken up one the provider’s behalf. And “go fuck yourself” to anyone who thinks that he should have kept his mouth shut and let the incident be swept under the rug.
I'm sorry that happened to you. Try giving her 24 hours to apologize to you and try to make amends before posting her name. Things do happen in the hobby world and it is possible that she is dealing with something serious.

Either you wait or you try to salvage your day with someone else. Either way best of luck to you. Originally Posted by SA Angel

If someone doesn't get back with you whatsoever, chances are something needs to be fixed on your end. That goes both ways.

Seriously...pathetic.

I’ve got a lot of respect for you, doc, as you are a more experienced customer and a valuable contributor to the forums … but I sense this is one area in which we have to agree to disagree.

If someone doesn’t respond to an inquiry at all, shrug it off and move on. If someone sets up an appointment and then goes dark, leaving you scrambling to find a last-minute replacement or sitting in a parking lot waiting for them to tell you a room number, that’s some serious backpage-level shit and seems like something worth mentioning.

I could personally care less, it happens and will happen again to all of us. Just have a decent plan b or perhaps wait it out and reschedule.

^^^ Agree! Do we ever hear from the ladies? Maybe she did it for a reason. If we have a Tread for NCNS's then maybe we will hear from ladies.
I know I've seen a few ladies post if you NCNS two times they black list you.

I do agree we should post people who flake. No long stories, just post flaked by -----. gives person chance to respond, if they don't then while I'm doing my "Research" ill now have a chance of seeing if this person has a growing trend. Could have avoided last NCNS if people had posted provider was a known flake prior to the act
This is why this should not be posted, it's none of ours or anyone's business of whom is setting up appointments, but also they shouldn't have to come on here and explain anything. It's too personal and not discreet.

I would just post the success story if she made it up later or whom ended up making it up to you. Everyone wins and can go about our daily lives. Hobby on.
