There's a big difference between us ladies up here and the ones held somewhere in a basement.
It's called CONSENT.

The myth of trafficking

Most migrant women, including those in the sex industry, have made a clear decision, says a new stud

By Brendan O'Neill
It is always refreshing to read a book that turns an issue on its head. Laura María Agustín's trenchant and controversial critique of the anti-trafficking crusade goes a step further: it lays out the matter - in this case, "human trafficking" - on the operating table, dissects it, unravels its innards, and shows the reader, in gory, sometimes eye-watering detail, why everything we think about it is Wrong with a capital W. It's a jarring read; I imagine that those who make a living from campaigning against the scourge of human trafficking will throw it violently across the room, if not into an incinerator. Yet it may also be one of the most important books on migration published in recent years.

About a year ago I saw a bust on TV, about 20 illegals guys were living on a house. With them were about 3-4 girls, I can only imagine they were there for entertainment as well as keeping house. I admit its not as rampant as the hype. But don't kid yourself into thinking it doesn't exist. Originally Posted by H.Hardhat

The reality is very different, the author says. Most migrant women, including those who end up in the sex industry, have made a clear decision to leave home and take their chances overseas. They are not "passive victims" who must be "saved" by anti-trafficking campaigners and returned to their country of origin. Rather, frequently, they are headstrong and ambitious women who migrate in order to escape "small-town prejudices, dead-end jobs, dangerous streets and suffocating families". Shocking as it might seem to the feminist social workers, caring police people and campaigning journalists who make up what Agustín refers to as the "rescue industry", she has discovered that some poor migrant women "like the idea of being found beautiful or exotic abroad, exciting desire in others". I told you it was controversial.

That is true too wtf. If you listen to the radio you've heard that PSA talking about the average age of hookers in this city. It's crazy to think that's true as I've never ever seen anyone as young as they are talking advertise or walk the track. How and where they are existing and getting customers I have no idea. Stay away from any discussions of underage sex

I actually thought I was staying from it....that is why I provided a link. But I can see how that may spur others to talk about something they shouldn't. Sorry 'bout dat.

.
I stand corrected.

I admit I was offended by the initial shock that someone would actively be seeking out traffic-ed sex workers. Relieved that he is unable to find what he's looking for.
Thanks for the insight into the propaganda machine driving this false crusade.

I've been held at gun point before by a pimp- in an trafficking attempt; Outside of an agency because I was the only NON-trafficked female working there. (No, I didn't know when I joined up at that agency.) Luckily, I had my own pee-shooter in my bag. Guess it was kind of a stand-off... Yet here I am to tell the tale.

So please.... tell me about what I do not know about.

If you choose to suck a dick instead of digging a ditch, I say good for you, I'd say the same thing if you choose to dig a ditch. Freedom to choose.

Do you think the hookers you see would rather be fucking you than making a million bucks say modeling swimsuits? They obviously do not have the option to model swimsuits for a million bucks so they choose to fuck you. With your logic, they should not have that choice.

Number one - do you really believe what the government tells you

basic facts - cartels are supplying the illegals with what they were accustomed to in the places they came from.. Filling a demand. where you have some 12 million illegals say a hair more than falf are men call it 7 million. Check out how many are in the Houston area and you can come up with an approximate demand.

Asians are trafficked in a somewhat different manner and they move around from city to city. Some come legally, earn their money, return and wait till they can come again so to speak. On the other hand some are duped into having to work their way out of debt that never ends.

Not so sure on the EE girls but it is more than likely the same as the Asian just different crime syndicates.

The question remains...if we are a human trafficking/sex slave capital ......How come you rarely hear of arrests? I mean there are dope bust all the time. Are others aware of this problem like FoxyNC yet when confronted with it you just turn your back on it.I mean between all the whoremongers on this board , you'd think someone had seen it...after all we are the capital of it!

I used to know a chick who had an Asian spa....she said they worked a circuit. Kinda like offshore workers who may work two weeks on and two weeks off.

It seems the Cantina's had a problem with that some time back.
.
LE?
This shouldn't BE anywhere. But apparently it doesn't violated guidelines so the mods let it exist. Damn shame...
So Very Wrong.
