So YOU are ok with the government interfering in your life. You don't believe in personal responsibility for one's actions either .Does that include when they intrude into YOUR bedroom ? Why not move to North Korea where the "Dear Leader" will " take care " of your weak, indecisive ass. Take woomby with you. He's a big proponent of socialism .

Do you drive a car? Seat belts, air bags, collision resistant bumpers. Safety glass. All this due to "government interference". We are told by government when we can turn without stopping, what speeds to go, where to park, etc.
Do you pay taxes? Again, government interference in our everyday lives.
We are told by government that we must attend school for a certain number of years.
All in all, I go through my day with very little impact on my daily life by the government. Nothing I can't live with. But I tend to look at the big picture and not worry about minor inconveniences. This is the greatest country in the world. BTW, to compare the U.S. to North Korea shows just a little bit of ignorance.
