Yeah! That Soldiers and Sailors Relief Act, meant to protect that group of veterans that the government prefers...fuck 'em...they're a detriment to everyone else...

Point taken, but first I had to get my google fixed so I could find out what the hell is the Soldiers and Sailors Relief Act...I had never heard of it. Figured it was new and that's why it never came to my attention during my service '59-'68...the kind of shit only regimental officers and company clerks knew about, or cared about for that matter.
Shazam, the concept goes back to the War Between the States...actually a lot longer than that, I'm sure, because it's merely the codification of common sense, delaying civil legal action, foreclosures, etc., against active service members until they return to civilian life. More like part of the implicit contract between service members and the society they protect.
But, hell, that's no different from the compact between society and grown-ass men thinking they're ladies and wishing to wander into the Ladies', now is it?
Your assertion that the Relief Act was a detriment to everyone else is wrong...it's only detrimental to creditors. For a while. As an aside, I wonder if that protection has made it more difficult for service members to get financing? Additionally you said it protects veterans...I think it only protects serving members, during service only, and maybe for a brief time after separation from active duty. But it's all new to me...I never needed protecting that way. Did you?
To be more accurate I should have said that special protections for groups of people
based on "progressive identity concepts" ... blah, blah.
