Utter nonsense, I have 4 positions that require basic computer competence, mechanical ability, and basic problem solving skills, all with the ability to earn $45k+ a year.... Either they are uninterested because it requires getting a little dirty (beneath them) or they are not competent & think they deserve a great paying job for just filling out the application (which half the time is riddled with errors & poor grammar). Expectations are scarily dropping because it has all become "I deserve this or that" not what an individual is prepared to prove he/she is worth.

They really expected the job because they graduated with a degree but had no intern experience, no volunteer work in their field and barely made it in college. (They spelled it collage)
Another young lady came in where yoga pants and a tank top and was checking her phone during the interview when it went off.
One wanted 50,000 a year start in graphics design because she has a $70,000 school loan for her simple degree.
One wouldn't take a drug screen because of freedom and walked out. They later filed a lawsuit for us asking which was thrown out.
They later applied for a different job two weeks after the suit was dropped.
Good luck finding someone
