Old photos, weither they are you or not are still old photos, or bait and switch in my book.
If I post my 83 pickup for sale in the auto trader with the picture I took of it the day I drove it off the lot. I'd have some pretty pissed off people to deal with when they came to look at it and found that it wasn't in very pristine condition any more.
