I hate to ask this but is Tats' vacation a temporary or permanent one?

Temporary, maybe he will meet the love of his life on the working side of a gloryhole, or behind a bk dumpster and they ride off into the sunset together. Or maybe he will choke on a 22" salami while inserting a kumquat.
