I'm sure the answer is somewhere in her showcase. Originally Posted by Victoria of Houston

I know it can get very irritating to have to answer the same sorts of questions over and over again.

I feel that way at times as well.

One tactic I use, is that if I receive a message that is just too outlandish, I ignore it completely. No point in wasting my time when a gent asks me for something I have clearly stated I do not offer.

You can start to get a feel for what type of client he is just from the way he initially approaches/contacts you. If I feel someone's style doesn't match up with mine, I tend to move on to others who I think do.

It's good to be discerning as a provider, I would say even necessary. Not all business is the kind of business you want anyways.

I took a look at your showcase, and I did notice you add a few lines about what you do not offer. The line I use is something like, "This is the entirety of what I offer, I appreciate not being asked to provider any services outside of this."

Perhaps you can change yours to something like this, and it will get the message across to them more clearly.

Of course, there will always be those who don't bother reading your showcase at all. I get asked all the time, "What info do you need for screening?" When it is clearly there in my showcase.

Honestly, at this point, I feel like any kind of legit gent, tends to send screening info, etc on the first contact. Because they are experienced in the hobby, they understand what sort of etiquette and decorum are expected.

Any sort of messages with less than that, tend to get shifted to the bottom of my priorities in terms of who I will respond to faster.

I have also seen some ladies who state clearly things like, "If you do not send the required screening info, I will not respond to you."

I don't think I'd want to be quite that stern at this point, but I have considered it as of late, to be honest, lol. Originally Posted by Victoria of Houston
