I do most of my hobbying in the state of Texas.

I feel it is less safe, but that's probably because I started initially at one of the top agencies in NYC. Our clients gave out lots of screening info, and we took cc's. To work there required a number of interviews that the ladies went through, no drugs, no drama, you basically waited in a highly secure area until a call came through, and then you had to pass dress approval before you left for the call. Business casual, no hooker wear. All buildings had doormen, sometimes additional security depending on who the clients were. It was a tight ship, but I felt extremely safe.
Nowadays, many men are reluctant to provide much info, I get it, yes, but when a lady has a great reputation, we are not out to get out to get you. The code of silence is something I respect deeply, perhaps due to that agency experience. Clients were very high profile. I still will never out them. To me, it feels less safe nowadays.
