Texas

My point being...she's funny...she's intelligent...she's definitely opinionated...and she's about as ebony as you can get...and NONE of that seems to hurt her business a lick. Originally Posted by Sisyphus

I love it when I have to go to Texas. I'm like a kid in a candy store-- great selection at reasonable rates. I'm not bashing the gals outside of Texas who charge more, but in Texas, it is Economics 101-- Supply and Demand. There seems to be an abundant supply which is good for the consumer because it makes rates competitive.
Well I will say this...if an individual is offended about what is said about a "city" you might need some therapy. I live in New Orleans and hear about the ncns every other day. Do I get offended when ladies bash my city? No! Why? Because it has nothing to do with me Lol. Who cares! If I know I can make twice the money in other areas guess what I'm going to do? Wow Rocket Science! There are not 2000 working escorts in many smaller towns so guess what? Those ladies who tour there make more money and see less people. I have plenty of Texas guys as clients but I don't tour Texas. I get over 20 pms a week asking me to go so I know it is possible to make it. I simply choose not to and as an indy...I can run my business the way I want to. Originally Posted by London Rayne

I say we table this whole Texas vs. Everywhere else thing for a while. Judging from my PM's I'm not the only one tired of hearing about it. Originally Posted by Chica Chaser

I appreciate your opinion Sir. If I was over-moderating, this thread would be closed down. This particular subject seems to be a lightning rod that has closed several other threads due to disrespect. Play away, respectfully, no one is stopping you at this point.

If you have further thoughts on this matter or any other, I welcome a discussion via PM with you.

I could NOT possible agree more, Naomi! Alas...sniff, sniff...she's too young for me to see BCD...but she is an "old soul" [which I mean as the highest compliment possible] & we are SORELY tempted...on MANY an occasion...

It's funny all this business regarding "Texas". Geez it doesn't bother me one way or the other if a lady wants to come here or not, whether she likes Texas or the people here. If a lady I would like to see decides to tour Houston, Tx and I get the opportunity to meet her then I surely will. If she doesn't or tells me it's because of the guys here then I simply say I understand and move on. When statements are made about Texas then I try to find the humor in it and laugh.....

The stats at the top of this thread prove the point: democracy is messy. The more popular a board becomes, the meaner it gets. ECCIE is a "Texas Board", just as ASPD was a few years ago. When membership was small, the boards seemed nice; once they hit the big time, not so much.

It's true everywhere you go. I checked out a board once whose membership is primarily West Coast, probably as active as this one. Brutal, to say the least.

As long as any anyone owning a cheap laptop and access to free wifi can join your board, you're going to have a high jerk factor among your membership. It's just the way it is....

A nice song by Gary P. Nunn that pretty sums up my opinion.

I almost posted the "Screw You, We're from Texas" link by Ray Wylie Hubbard but why stir the pot.
Texas itself is a great state and I haven't seen anyone have anything negative to say about any city here on this site except for Houston. However, the provider bashing and sending out requests for ladies to tour Houston just to stand them up as a group is causing Houston on this site to get a bad rap. If you let these people represent you then you really have no complaint about how you are seen. Solve the problem. It's not a problem of censoring them but if you speak out against this group or any member of it, you get banned or blamed. It's not fair to refuse to censor them and then censor the rest of us. That's the REAL problem. Personally, I think that if you have been black listed more than once, you should be banned from all sites. Grant it you should have to prove the problem to the black list sites. That would solve the whole problem.

So what exactly are you saying Lacey?

Who are all these Houston folks that are blacklisted in a way that means something to you? There is one local lady that seems to blacklist a lot of people she has never seen which amuses most of us.

Who was
sending out requests for ladies to tour Houston just to stand them up as a group
because if that's happening on a regular basis shouldn't the ladies make each other aware of who is doing it? It seems to be one of those rumors that "everyone" knows to be true, but when asked about it there are never any specifics. Which was kind of the point of this thread I thinck.

Poor Chica Chaser, we are sorry for quoting this but if she was talking about a person rather than a place... well you are more than smart enough to see where I'm going. When it is a place in a virtual world the folks that live there are going to be a little put off. If it is a "fact" then support the fact and give us some proof. We have been down this road it never ends well.
