TCB Question How long is too Long?

From an extremely new provider's perspective-

It takes time to adjust to things here when you're coming from another site or more. Often i forget to check my messages as frequent as i should. Seriously though. ..when your phone beeps every 5 minutes for an email, text or call, i often just have to take me time. I have to cause it'll drive a chick crazy. I've been doing this quite a while and i still hear from guys from long ago. So...


If she doesn't answer. .. Wait awhile then try again. If she's worth it, you'll be PERSISTENT but not a PEST.

I guess so, you guys have seen more then I have, but to give the girls a pass of 24 hours is insane--if you did have a backup plan or two then that would be cancellations with them.

A week in advance is also a long time, and then having to confirm that date as the week progresses and having to wait 24 hours for a confirmation, nobody here is doing that.



But, I do stand by my comment, if someone is saying 24 hours is acceptable (and sometimes it probably did not matter) but to say that is okay then you are probably protecting someone with bad communication skills.

It don't have to be a pimp that handles messages for another girl, it could just be a friend--at least she's trying to be responsive.

And there are hundreds of contributors on this site that do not post reviews, I'm pretty sure that they would not be here if they are not active in the hobby. Originally Posted by The Grey Monster

No one has asked you to not stand by your comments. I really don't think you are understanding the conversation here. I am not saying you give girl a pass after 24 hours and not trying to protect anyone. We are merely trying to help a fellow brother out with info.
And not trying to change the subject, but reviews help add to your credibility!!
Furthermore, when I am traveling, I usually contact a provider a few days in advance to try to set up the appointment. I do so out of respect for her. I realize that she may have a life away from the hobby, kids, job, etc. So, some times it may take her a while to answer. Not everyone can just drop what they are doing and respond right away. It is called respect for the other person....

I get it and I think that the OP has his answer, a good topic often can lead into a conversation where other peoples point of views while staying on topic can be helpful (I guess I failed at that attempt) I did flame the moderator (and I apologize for that) but at the same time he's a moderator and and can have a bias pov based on the perks of that position.
