Here are links to the cases I mentioned about politicians arrested in bathrooms:

I found no reports of transgender people committing sex crimes in bathrooms. But I did find these.

What I also found in my research is that even proponents of these bathroom bills are not arguing that they are needed to protect women and children from transgender people. Their argument is that having transgender friendly bathrooms would embolden sexual predators to impersonate a woman to gain access to women's bathrooms.

I think that is a myth and grean was kind enough to post some links that debunk that myth.
(Thank you grean for the links. I should have posted links myself from the beginning. My bad)

Now, to be fair, I also came across these articles which report cases of men doing exactly that, pretending to be women and going into the women's bathrooms.

What is lacking in these articles however, is whether it indicates a rise in these types of incidents. Which you yourself said is key to this issue. I mean, let's face it. Perverts have been going into women's bathrooms ever since there were women's bathrooms. Based on the information I have seen, I would say no.

Hey Remember last week when we went out for drinks and dinner? When I walked into the restroom, I was confused for a second because I thought I was in the men's restroom.
I walked back out and looked at the door but NOPE, it was a transgender restroom.
First one I've seen here since being in Austin.

If trans-genders really want their own restroom, then they need to come up with a new something to (do their business) in?

Help me out here someone... you know, not a urinal, but not a commode...???

(What the hell WOULD a Trans-Gender Toilet look like? Hmmm...)

Anyways, the point is something so when men or women walked in they would go "Oh Sh#t, I'm in the wrong restroom! This one's obviously for trans-genders!"
