He is definitely rusty and his mental strenghth is rough. But he may recover. It will take time. PGA and the golf technology has taken the game to more competitive level. If Darren clark can win the British open late in his years, tiger has a chance if he can get his focus back. He does even if he is not be the same when i saw him at us open beating Rocco the next day..

Closing thoughts tiger is so close yet so far. Hope he gets his confidence back. Tough thing to do but doable.

yep, at one time I could play to a 9 but it meant a lot of practice.. I was much younger and walked and carried my bag so I could play more as money was not there to spare. No cart fees.
Physical issue will mean it will be close to impossible to ever do that again but I can still shoot in the 80's on some days.

The fact is, I love the game. I always enjoyed watching Tiger play. He was exciting. I hope he gets it together but his next saving grace may be on the Champions tour.

He is experiencing 'bad Karma' for dropping his friend Fuzzy Zoeller in the grease years ago. He could have shown the world that he was indeed a man to look up to after Fuzzys poor choice of a joke by blowing it off like friends do, but no, he wouldn't let it go and showed his true colors in my book. Yea, I hung around with Fuzzy a lot, he was always joking like that. Just had to understand that was how he interacted but didn't mean it. He used to call me Hitler when I had a moustache.

I can see why Tiger (Eldrick) was upset, but it is kind of like the people at work getting along, but there is 1 guy who is anal.

On another side note, Robert Allenby. Got beat up in a bar early 2016. The rest of year played 23 tournaments and didn't make the cut 21 times. Ouch ! You get zero money if you miss the cut, and have
your weekly expenses. But he made plenty before.

So hard to make it on tour when you are just starting out. There is not many spots, and so many excellent golfers.
