Account hacking attempts

I had the problem tonight. It occurred after I had logged out and wanted back in a few minutes later. Can you get blocked out while you are logged in?

Another issue, I was still blocked after the prescribed time.

Later tonight I got back in from a different computer.. Can we be getting infected with something from Eccie, or a pop on on Eccie?

Same issue, blocked as if I was on the fifth access attempt, no change after 15-min timeout. Still happening.

Would be nice if an ECCIE tekkie on staff commented about this, but perhaps they can't replicate the problem to research its origin? -- Fancy, from her phone, where it isn't easy being green

I haven't had any issues.

Perhaps you folks should hit "shift-ctrl-delete" and clear your browsing data.

As for browsers, I use Puffin on my phone, Firefox on my stationary computer, Chrome on the laptop. No problems with old Internet Explorer, so far, but I hate using that. Right now I'm on the cell via Puffin, but took a different path, logging in from a Yahoo search through the peruse provider profile page. -- Fancy, from her phone, where it isn't easy being green
^^^^ have you tried the m dot page?

^^^^^ or checked the national tech support forum Originally Posted by GlobeSpotter

Still no comment from staff, but other members in the main page discussion seem to feel it isn't hack or bug, but a website issue.. -- Fancy, from her phone, where it isn't easy being green
^^^ my point is to use the m dot page to log in.

then change the url to main page.

the m.dot pages often get past the site problems caused by the complex main pages

i just logged in first try on m dot but that doesn't mean anything

Having the same issue, couldn't log in using main site. I tried once and it was telling me to wait 15 minutes. I reset password and it still didn't work. It finally worked after I switched to the mobile site.
Thank you Globespotter...this was the only way in for me...WTH is going on here?

Anybody know whats really happening?????

Don't log off.
No problemo!
Today is the first time in nearly a week that I haven't had any problems logging in from my various devices, and I haven't done a danged thing differently. Evidently the leprechauns chased the gremlins off of the Irish Chihuahua Refuge, at least for now. Hope the evil ugly buggers don't circle back.

It would probably have been better to post this in the National Forum for Technical Issues.

I didn't have any issues myself but I only access the full sight. I don't use the mobile sight at all.

There is an ongoing discussion in National Tech: http://eccie.net/showthread.php?t=1967126

I've posted there a couple of times, and linked the Houston thread. Same issue also reported in Dallas. Affects the full, regular site, not mobile, at least not that I've experienced. (Hate using the mobile version. Too limited.) No comment anywhere from any ECCKE tekkie, no apparent resolution on the horizon. Using different paths, aka logging-in on another page than usual, an alternate browser, or GS's method, apparently works, at least temporarily, but I've had difficulty repeating. The hungry gremlins follow my electronic breadcrumbs and eat them.

Appears to be confined to Texas so far, which would indicate what, exactly?
