Trying to stay on point, I am saying this... as a honest comparison... If Comey wanted to stay non-partisan he would not have added personal opinions and not said anything about the Weiner deal. As far as the "Weiner deal" is concerned:

When Comey testified before Congress last July, he specifically said if anything were to cause the FBI to reopen the Hillary Clinton investigation, he would notify them. He would have broken his very public promise if he had failed to notify Congress when the FBI discovered Anthony Weiner's laptop in late October.

What I find amusing is how the libtards keep blaming Comey for hildebeest's defeat, but you never hear them blame Carlos Danger! What's up with that?

read the NY Times article .. very illuminating. in so many ways ... in fact the Times just might have regained a bit of its tarnished credibility with this piece.

and they went so far out on a limb .. that later got sawed off .. to be intentionally be biased towards Trump.

I think you are correct about him setting himself up for an opening to discredit her right at election time. I do not believe it was not a set up.
