Kendal is also sweet and easy going, unless you have wronged her--and that's a stupid thing to do (MrBB); she is a lady who is as hot and accommodating as you will find anywhere. Her rates are excellent for what you get and a real special deal if you are used to rates in larger cities like NYC, Wash DC, Chicago, Los Vegas or LA, where I often travel.
I have heard and understand her explanation about why she raised her rates; and it echos what I have heard from a number of other very high-quality ATX providers--many of which you never see or hear about hear on the eccie boards. These ladies' phones initially blew up with lots of text messages from want-to-be guys, all looking for discount rates and special deals. Needless to say, the ladies only want to deal with serious hobbyists and higher rates are an effective way to differentiate the serious hobbyists from the thrill seekers who looking for cheapest experiences possible.
KC is not a cheap experience, she has found a way to limit the noise, and she continues to be very successful in ATX. Why should she change her business model? It's working quite well for her.
My best advice is go see her and pay her stated rack rate. If she likes what she sees, maybe she will work harder to find a way to get you back for a second or third session. If her initial rate is too high, there are other options available in ATX.
Yep, guys driving compact Fords will always envy the guys driving by in a high-performance sports car. These guys should not ask why the price of sports cars are too high, but should instead ask "why didn't I work harder in school or at my job get a promotion or rise in salary level?" and then I would be able to afford that pretty sports car. It's not the sports car's fault. "Hate the game, not the player."
