Not too long ago it was stated by a Mod (don't recall which one) that it was "ok" to PARAPHRASE private communications, but "private communications" could not be "QUOTED"!

(Although I thought it was strange that a person can "spin" what I say in private to them, and I can't quote what was said to "correct" the record .... and "quotes" seem more reliable.)
