WTF - BR is getting lots of traffic....this is BS!

I am a relatively untapped resource! I am at an equal distance between NOLA and BR. Wait...... is that my phone ringing????? :-P

If you think about it alot of the easy Katrina money has dried up, and while the city of New Orleans has started issuing court summons for violators the cost of Hotel Rooms in the more desireable areas of the city are fairly expensive, in many cases trending $200 plus a night easy, and more on the weekends. Many of your travelers use to frequent the causeway and clearview service road motels which are more reasonable with rates, but lately there have been more targeted busts in those hotels by JPSO, also the crack down on Metairie strip clubs has not helped, because many of your travelers escort on the side.

On the flip side, Baton Rouge is home to the campus of LSU home of many young college girls looking to make a extra buck, or hot young friends visiting for the weekend looking to do the same, also around the Acadian/College drive area you have a big strip club next to alot of easily accessible hotels, which is convient for the travelers.

I think we have our share, but AmberXoXo just delayed her trip (do not know why) and other ladies as previously mentioned did not come due to lack of interest. Maybe, i need to book with these ladies BEFORE the get here......Hmmmmmm. I usually wait until they are here, maybe bad planning on my part, but I do not want to be disappointed when they cancel on me because of lack of interest, so typically I wait. But maybe that is the problem more men, like me, wait too long and lady does not come. Saw VictoriaJolie was in town recently, I did not see her but her banner looks HOT!!!! Hotels are getting to be very expensive in NOLA. I have to be there for two days later this month and I am paying double for my room compared to BR. And that was booking it way in advance through a hotel booking agency.

About 25% of those people actually schedule, and about half of them will refuse to confirm their appointments or will actually confirm and then NCNS. It can be irritating enough the first time to warrant less frequent efforts later on.

Hard to get rooms in nola right now too. Originally Posted by heidilynnla

Hotel cost are high..............Thats why its important to use priceline & hotwire {Or if you are reputable & I know you well,you can use my place occassionally}

i would love to see even more girls in Baton Rouge, the drive is better for me, its 1.5 hours to either N.O. or B.R. but i hate driving in N.O. Pluse the parking there is expensive if you want to park close to the hotel without walking to far. then if i want to spen the night like someone else said the rooms are to expensive. Puse is gettting a little warmer out and the Quarter will start to really smell.
Its not hard to get no room in nola! im in Nola Now came down last night and all the hotels on the east are empty! i will be here so come see me!
New Orleans.

I guess I see from a providers eyes. I see more ladies advertising in N.O.

Reasoning for not visiting New Orleans.

1. Not really sure.
2. No idea where to stay, I keep getting mixed views. I just gave up.
3. Not sure If I would get business.
4. Acouple of guys inquired while I was in BR, oddly they disappeared once I got into town. Oh well.
5. Not sure what the parking situation down there in N.O
6. The hotels I would like to stay is not well...well...provider friendly. I think, I don't know. It would be a risk.
7. New Orleans is my second favorite city as for not working. Good food and I love the casino. However as far as working, well im just not sure.
it is slow in nola right now though and its usually never slow for me!
Honey, huge difference between the city and the east.

I don't deny what any of the ladies has contribute so far..Far from it
We will see if Nola guys come to some of their repuation or not or maybe i will be lucky(crossing my fingers)
My expectation are not what i usually have in other cities where i have been touring for long time
bisous Victoria
If thats all true about N.O. then why doesn't Baton Rouge have it's own Forum like N.O. does. Originally Posted by acp5762

Like everyone else, I used to plan to go to NOLA, but not much ever materialized. I love going there. It's a great city.
