Colin chose to speak out against police violence. He knew there would be blowback for doing so and did it anyway. Good for him. Those of us from military families would never use this form of protest. However I can certainly see and respect why he did. He may never play ball again, but he did make an issue front and center on a stage that millions watch. Mission accomplished.

The NFL has every right to shun him, however. He was a backup at the time he began protesting. The NFL may have endured it from a starter, but not a backup no matter how skillful.

I haven't seen where he has complained publicly about not being signed. It's come from others, as far as I know. Got to tip your hat there.
