Word is that the fake dossier was dressed up by the FBI and used, at least in part, to obtain a warrant from a FISA court to spy on the Trump campaign. This has not been confirmed, but as Jim Jordan said - if it's true, it's as wrong as wrong can be.

What dismays me the most is this... in the wake of Snowden's treasonous leaks back in 2013, I steadfastly defended the right of the NSA and other federal agencies to collect meta-data and use the FISA process to investigate suspected terrorists. With one big caveat - as long as the politicians didn't abuse the process to spy on each other. Now we can see that's precisely what happened. It didn't take long for the fucking democrats to succumb to the temptation to corrupt our far-reaching federal surveillance capabilities and use them for domestic political gain.
